Maasai Intellectual Property Initiative

The Maasai tribe of 2 million have formed and registered MIPI: The Maasai Intellectual Property Initiative. This involved outreach to a critical number of 1 million Maasai and registering their name as Trademark. If the Maasai license this to companies, a sustainable income via licenses is returned to the Maasai.
